'The Captain' Adam founded Captain's Craftworks in 2012 after many years working in his families furniture workshops where their generations of skill, knowledge and passion were passed down to him. Following in family tradition Adam set up his Nottinghamshire based workshop with quality, service and unique design at the forefront of his vision.

We received our kitchen island over a week ago. As a piece of furniture it is a game-changer. As I have been using it I have continually been pleased by the quality of work and the detailing in its construction. It is a very robust and elegant piece of craftsmanship and I was very pleased with choosing Adam from Captain’s Craftworks to build it.

Adam designed, built, finished, delivered, and assembled this most beautiful larder - he is a woodworking genius. Choosing a colour was challenging; everything on offer is lovely. We are so happy with the final result. The larder is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship - it also takes up minimal foot space considering how much it holds; it is a Tardis. We love, love, love it.
