This butchers block kitchen island is part of our exclusive Port Royal furniture range.
Beautifully constructed and hand waxed in medium oak or painted with our own high quality durable paint with a clear oiled top this butchers block style island really is a substantial piece of furniture.
Available in various sizes, with the option to add locking wheels, all of which are 36 inches (92cm) high the same as a standard kitchen worktop.
Supplied with antibacterial food safe treatment oil for ongoing care.

This block has been designed for home use as a normal kitchen work surface and not as a commercial chopping block. Made from solid Scandinavian Redwood with a solid Qubec Yellow wood block top.

Bespoke Port Royal Butchers Block
I have to say the bespoke butchers block is superb and beautifully made. We had it made slight wider (24 inches) to suit the large kitchen area. It has a primary place in our kitchen and has already helped transform the cooking experience by adding a fantastic central food preparation area and freed up lots of cupboard space as a store for our pots and pans. Great work Adam. Would not hesitate to to recommend.

Excellent piece of furniture - superb service
As described, this is not a commercial chopping block but a 'statement' piece of furniture. It is well put together and very sturdy.
Ours is a bespoke size and ordering to delivery was handled very efficiently. The delivery itself was well communicated and the block arrived well protected.
We took 6 days to allow the block to come up to room temperature and apply the (supplied) anti bacterial oil - allowing 24 hrs between coats. Now that is finished, the block is an excellent addition to the kitchen.
Wouldn't hesitate to use Captains-Craftworks in the future.
